Helping Careers Recover & Thrive in the Business Events Industry
Stuart Ruff-Lyon, 2020 Chairman of the PCMA Board of Directors, looks back on a year of challenges both personal and professional and the changes the pandemic has brought to the business events industry.
A lot of people in the organizations and communities that support the delivery of business events have been hurt as a result of the pandemic and related economic crises. Our industry will re-emerge but will be different as a result.
The PCMA Foundation wants to help business event professionals, their supplier business partners and supporting communities everywhere recover and thrive in a post-COVID world.
Accelerating Reskilling is a PCMA Foundation fundraising campaign dedicated to investing in key skillset development areas for business event industry professionals and their business partners. Our goal is to raise $250,000 by the end of this year to support the immediate reskilling of 1000 business events professionals as our industry emerges towards recovery and beyond.
Between August 4–9, 2021, we’ll be enhancing our technology and performing core system updates to streamline your online experience with PCMA. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact:
